Fruit and vegetable rattles were some of the very first toys we designed at Hathay Bunano. They started out much smaller as a decorative item and came in a cane basket as a way of trying to find sales opportunities for the cane industry in Bangladesh! It was only when we started to see that children were enchanted by them that we resized them into a perfect rattle size, included the rattle bell and found ourselves with a toy that appeals equally to babies and toddlers alike. A great way to learn about ‘5 a day’.
